Shandong Guangyin New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangyin) was established. Started the construction of the long-carbon chain nylon resin.

Guangyin’s Academician Workstation and the Joint Key Laboratory with the Chinese Academy of Sciences were inaugurated.

Shandong Guangyin DKK New Materials Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Daiichi Kigenso Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd., the construction of the Zirconia hi-tech ceramic products project started.

The 2nd phase of the Guangyin’s nylon project was completed and put into production, with a comprehensive production capacity of 15,000 tons/year.

Guangyin took the lead in establishing the China Special Nylon Engineering Plastics Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance and was elected the first chairman unit.
